There is something so unique and whimsical about the writing of Eoin Colfer.
I loved getting to dive right back into the Fowl world. The characters are fun and quick. When you're reading this book you're mastermind brain suddenly wakes up and starts to try deciphering the clues that the twins are setting out for you along with their story.
It was such a fun and exciting read. The entire book is filled with wit and charm. Every single chapter bursting with more color than the last.
The characters were fun to get to learn about. The reasons that the reader falls for their charms so quick isn't because they are perfect, quite the contrary actually. I believe that we fall in love with them because we all like the little annoying quirks they have or the little things they do to keep their emotions in check; like counting until the crazy has receded.
Overall this book was just such a warm and adventurous read and I can't wait to read the next one!
