You know what, I was kind of embarrassed to be reading a middle-grade book at first, but who cares?? I loved it! It was exactly what I needed. It seems like every book I have read lately has been depressing, so this was a much welcomed change. I really like books by Eoin Colfer. I remember the first book I read of his was Half Moon Investigations and I absolutely loved it. Of course, the Artemis Fowl books were wonderful, too. But I loved getting to know Myles and Beckett! Their differences made for a perfect sibling dynamic. There was plenty of humor, some of which would have gone over my head if I was eleven years old like the protagonists. (An acronym called ACRONYM? Love it.) Overall, I would recommend this book to both kids and adults who are looking to relive some of their childhood.
