I won a copy of this book from BookishFirst. It was just as good as I remember the original Artemis Fowl books being! I love Eoin Colfer's style of writing in these books. It makes for a quick read. I loved the little glimpses that Colfer gave of Artemis, all grown up, still smart as ever, and on his way to Mars! The new characters are great as well. I loved too-smart-for-his-own-good Myles, athletic and unique Becket, the toy troll, and Lazuli the blue pixel with no magic. I had a suspicion about who Lazuli's angel was, and I was so happy that I was right. I love that Myles and Becket are constantly being underestimated because they are only eleven years old, but they always manage to surprise everyone.
