I actually never even read the first Artemis Fowl book. I had heard about it and knew they were making a movie for it as well. So when I saw this book, I was instantly drawn in by the colorful, action packed cover. The story was actually pretty great. It’s based on the Fowl twins, who are the brothers of the main character in Artemis Fowl (Artemis). It has plenty of action. It fits very well for a youth read. I think that this is definitely a book made for kids. It’s clean, funny, and has that action that every upper elementary/ middle school kid craves. I highly recommend this for your own kids. For teachers. For librarians. It’s a quick-paced, light read. Even though it is geared toward kids, as an adult, I still found it witty and enjoyable.
