As a huge fan of the Artemis Fowl series, I was very excited to star this spinoff series. It did not disappoint!
The newer character were fantastic, this series could stand well on its own, but it’s also a great addition to the Artemis Fowl universe. It’s very much in the same vein as the original series. Its pepper with humor, absurdity, and witty dialogue. It’s got more fairy villains you love to hate and also kind of find so fun to read about you hope they stick around and keep causing trouble so you can keep reading about.
One of the twins takes very much after young Artemis Fowl with some (sort of) evil genius vibes. The other has his own unique talents. I just loved the dynamics between characters and the dialogue. The world is still so full of ridiculously interesting nonhuman characters, from trolls to pixies. The story is a fresh and fun adventure!
