This seems like a super cute middle grade type book. I'll be honest that I haven't read any if the Artemis Fowl books though. The meeting of the cast part was fun, as are the names, and writing style in general.
The faerie seems snarky and like a fun character. I also like that it's set at least partially in Ireland. Would keep reading if I was familiar with the series!
