I wasn't sure what to expect when I began reading, but pretty soon I was laughing out loud. That comment may not sound original, but this book sure is. Trying to categorize the genre seems impossible: parts of it are definitely adult satire or perhaps would be most appreciated by more mature minds that understand the futility of the fountain of youth search as well as the totally absurd treatments to which Lord Teddy has subjected himself. Other parts of this story seem to be a children's tale of trolls and fairies... except there is some extreme evil involved. How timely that there is a character named Whistle Blower. But back to the book... it is definitely unique. Is it "my type" of book? Not really, and yet why do I find myself wanting to read on ?
