Sad when I couldn't scroll anymore...!

In just a short sample of Ruta Sepetys Fountains of Silence... I am already invested in all her intriguing and likeable characters! I am so excited to read this book! The release date can't come soon enough. Fountains of Silence tells the story of the unjust Facist dictatorship of Francisco Franco in Spain in the 1950s after the Spanish Civil War. Her story begins in 1957. The story is told through four teenage voices. I can't wait to see how the characters stories and lives intersect amongst the backdrop of one of Spain's most brutal periods. Daniel is an American visiting Spain with his family who wants to become a photojournalist, Ana is a hotel maid who's family depends on her wages, Puri a caregiver to orphaned children, and Rafi is Ana's brother. I can't wait to see how the mystery unfolds and how our characters at the brink adulthood handle it all.
