Absolute brilliance. Ruta never fails to captivate readers into historical fiction. Ever since the I finished between shaded of Gray, which to say I was hooked would be the biggest understatement. I have passed the time between the release by reading ruta many other masterpieces. Including Salt to the sea. Rutas ability to immerse the reader into a era's of time is unmatched. As purely a lover of ya, I would not consider myself a history butt. But little to say after Between shades of Gray, I've reconsider. I now find myself appreciating the journeys and hardships these characters faced. A truly eye opening experience can be found in any of Rutas books. Raw and unfiltered emotion is felt through these thin pages.
