I was highly anticipating this book due to so many positive reviews about the author and her writing. However, after about 100 or so pages, I decided to give up. It just wasn't what I had expected and there were so many more POVs than anticipated. I just really cared about the two main characters but with so many other characters and their perspectives, I felt that the main story just felt lost. I also didn't care much for the writing at all and felt that it could have been a lot better. Or maybe I simply wasn't in the mood for this book was I was in the middle of reading all of the best YA fictions at the time for a video and this one was just so subpar compared to the rest of them.
