I literally JUST finished this and I don’t really have the right words for it just yet, but this story has touched me in a way I didn’t expect it to. I laughed and cried and honestly was just overall not too prepared for how much I was going to love it!!
This is na absolutely heart wrenching story about the difficulties of living in Franco's Spain and has some of the most lovable characters I've ever come across. Ruta Sepetys creates such a world and such a connection between the characters and the reader that has left me thinking about this book ever since I've read it.
