After reading some reviews for this book, I was hooked. I am a fan of historical fiction anyway, but this story is described as "nuanced" and "evocative" and is already highly rated on Goodreads. At 500+ pages, it's a chunkster but it sounds like it's right up my alley and I can't wait to read it!
