Having read Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys, I was immediately interested in The Fountains of Silence. First, that cover is striking in that golden yellow color. Second, I know Sepetys works to give a voice to events that aren't entirely covered in history class and I know her characters will be well-rounded, realistic, and emotion-evoking. It's sure to be an emotional ride and I want to get my eager hands on it.
