This book immediately draws you in to the story. The heartbreak of Ana, Rafa and Julia losing their parents to the Franco empire lays the foundation for the story. I feel sure Ana is going to end up in a relationship with Daniel, American visitor to the hotel where she works. She has done something she wasn’t supposed to do as we find out she received a note from someone saying they need what she did, but we’re not privy to what at the point. I look forward to learning more about Spain during this time period and finding out what happens with Ana and her siblings.
