I would have to admit that I am not familiar with this period in Spanish history, though reading through the synopsis and first pages of this book, I'm instantly intrigued to learn more. This book seems to take readers through a difficult period through the eyes of someone who can see it all without putting too much of a personal spin on it. I would be interested in reading more.
