Ruta Sepetys is one of my favorite authors. And this book does not disappoint as yet another amazing historical fiction story based on a real event....the beginning of The Fountains of Silence pulled me in from the very first page. The characters are so real and their thoughts & actions mesmerizing, to say the least. It is obvious that there will be many layers to this story as the characters are introduce, Rafa and Ana, spanish brother and sister, their cousin Puri and then Daniel, the American--who are all connected in personal ways that are revealed slowly as the story progresses. I would LOVE to read and review and ARC of this book as I absolutely cherished Salt to the Sea and Between Shades of Gray. Thank you so much for the opportunity!!
