I enjoyed this book. The story was a bit slow at the beginning but it did pick up as it went. This book was filled with unexpected twists which made it an enjoyable read. The story is centered around a wife, her husband, and her best friend, each one with a mystery.
We start this story with the wife Alice, a woman who had a nervous breakdown ten years before after the sudden death of her first husband, Tom in a skiing trip. Alice a successful business owner and mother of two struggles with her marriage to Nathan because she still loves Tom even though Nathan is a wonderful husband and father, until odd things start to happen and Alice questions how happy they really are.
Nathan, is such a supportive husband and father working in the Interior Design company that Alice started with Tom.
Beth, a single mother and best friend to Alice who is always there to help out when Alice needs support. When Alice finds herself with problems she turns to her best friend..But of course things are never as they seem, and Alice finds her life turned upside down as she begins to uncover the secrets lurking beneath the surface of this idyllic marriage.
