I have been looking forward to reading this book ever since I first read the synopsis! The story is definitely right up my alley and it seems unique to other books I have read with a similar tone to this one. Right off the bat, I really enjoyed the writing style of the preview excerpt and it seems to flow really well. I normally enjoy books that flow easily, whether it's a fast-paced thriller or a slow building mystery. To me, this seems more like a faster paced thriller and it is written beautifully. I have seen so much hype about this book, which made me nervous at first, but after reading the excerpt I can definitely predict that this book will live up to the hype! I am also really excited to read this author's other book.
