This was a fun, original read. Sandie Jones, the author of The Other Woman has written another fast paced suspense story. Alice was married to Tom and they had an idyllic marriage. They had their daughter, Sophia and together had started a very successful company. More importantly, they were so in love. Unfortunately, Tom dies and Alice is left reeling. Afterwards, she has to receive treatment in order just to function. She doesn't know how she's going to go on, but she pushes forward for her daughter's sake and starts rebuilding her life,
Alice meets Nathan and they get married and even have their own daughter, Olivia. Alice feels fortunate to have found love again. She's grateful for her life but sometimes still pines for Tom and their love.
Things start to take a odd turn when she starts to suspect Nathan of things he shouldn't be doing. I won't give too much away, but everything is starting to be questioned. Is Nathan the person Alice thought he was? Was TOM? Is anything true?
