Old tale about misplaced trust in Friends and women's problems

This is the typical story of a love triangle. A woman that loves her husband is living her happy, butterflied family story. The same woman has a best friend since childhood, and the woman loves her best friend to death! However, and there it is, the best friend and the husband are having an affair. Not cool. Now between the woman and the best friend, there is a war going on. The woman turns out to be really mean, but I don't know the details because I only read the first two chapters of this book.
The pages I read were written very well, very easy to follow and with a technique that really makes you sympathize with the woman. Definitely, there is material for a bestseller here. This is the same author of "The other woman."
