Alice drew me into her life. She seemed like she had the perfect life, husband, and best friend. But as you traveled along on her journey things just didn’t feel right. I was captivated in wanting to read more and learn about Alice’s life to find out if it really was perfect or just pretend. Was Beth really a best friend or was she just posing.
I have read Sandie Jones’ other book and I am a fan of her writing. She captures my attention and leaves me wanting to read more. At times I think I knew where the story was going and then it took me on another turn. I like how her books are easy to read and aren’t too long. She has great details that make you dive into the story and want to be friends with the characters.
