I absolutely LOVED "The Other Woman" (the author's first book), so I couldn't wait to read this book. While I didn't love it quite as much, it definitely secured Jones's place on my list of must-read authors.

The characters were well-developed, and the plot was believable, with a number of unexpected plot twists. It was a bit more predictable than her prior book, and it took a bit longer to "grab" me, but I'm so glad I read stuck with it, as the latter half of the book was faster paced and had me turning the pages to find out what happened. I was able to figure out a few points, but, once again, there were parts that I never saw coming ... which is something I love! Jones is really marketing herself as a master at blindsiding the reader!

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher and Bookish First, but I wasn't required to leave a positive review.
