Sandie Jones is a new author for me. The cover caught my attention and the blurb had me intrigued.The story starts with Alice trying to get her two daughters to school. The teacher mentions an incident that involves her daughter the prior day and suggests a meeting. She then runs into her friend Beth. They make arrangements for a girls night out. Alice has a meeting with for a job prospect for Temple house, her high school boyfriends company.She rushes off after he makes unwanted advances. Her husband informs her that her daughter was hurt at school. Livvy tells her that she is getting bullied. These three chapters left me with so many questions. What is happening with her daughter at school? What happened to her first husband? How does her ex offering the Temple House design job tie into the storyline?
