Intriguing and mysterious are the two words I have to describe this book. The main character is a mother to two girls and married to a man that is her second husband. Apparently, her first husband died, which I'm sure we'll find out more about later. The main character runs an interior design business with her current husband and it's becoming quite successful. Her husband goes on a business trip to Japan with a young woman that is their newest employee. I detect that the husband is a cheater, just from that sub plot and the description of the book. Meanwhile our main character is at home dealing with a perverted client who fondles her. As if that isn't bad enough, her youngest daughter is hurt by another girl, who comes to find out, is taunting the poor thing that her "first daddy" died and her "second daddy" is going to die next. That's where the excerpt ends. Very chilling, strange, and mysterious. I'm interested to see what happens next!
