This tale of psychological suspense kept me turning the pages and I could not put it down! This was a true domestic psychological suspense and it slowly reeled me in, all the while keeping me in the edge of my seat waiting for the next reveal and twist.
I especially enjoyed how this was told in three sections, present day - Alice, Nine Years Earlier - Beth, and Present Day - Alice and Beth. There is also short but gripping prologue to start the book as well as an equally short and gripping epilogue to close the book. This was an extreme!y character driven story. Much of the story set up seems ordinary and believable, which adds to the thrill and suspense when the crazy starts to unfold.
Go into this book without knowing anything about the story beyond the book blurb and you will be rewarded! I recommend this book!
