The First Mistake had me going in circles. It is a domestic psychological thriller that takes deception to another level. So many twists and so many lies. Can you trust your best friend? Can your trust your husband? I think what bothered me about this story was that the women were very gullible to the point of pathetic. How many “mistakes” can one possibly make?! I really had a difficult time with their personalities. The plot was pretty interesting (some slow spots) and I was looking forward to seeing how the main character was going to handle the situation. I have read many psychological thrillers, some really really good and some just so so, and I put this book in the middle of the pack.
