4 stars!

I'll admit, I had a hard time rating this book waffling between 3 and 4 stars. It was good, but not anything particularly new to the suspense/thriller genre. However, it was fast paced and I devoured this book quickly so I would recommend it as a fun read for suspense and thriller fans!

Alice owns a interior design firm and is married to her husband Nathan. She has two children: one from her previous marriage and one with her second husband. Her first marriage was with the love of her life who disappeared during a ski trip and was presumed dead after being missing for days.

Alice loves Nathan, but finds she still thinks about Tom all the time, even 10 years later. When she finds signs that Nathan is seeing another woman and then finds a Facebook profile for her supposedly dead husband Tom, she wonders what secrets both of her husbands are hiding. Further adding to Alice's worries is a bombshell revelation by her best friend Beth that turns Alice's world upside down.

This book is filled with twists and revelations right up until the ending, which makes for a fun read. Some of the twists are predictable and easy to figure out. I did guess the "who" of the big reveal at the end, but not the "why". The ending is a bit abrupt and I wish that more was discussed in the epilogue, but overall I still enjoyed the book all the way through the end.

I enjoyed The Other Woman by Sandie Jones as well; she is establishing herself as a respected author in the suspense genre. I will look out for her next book as well!
