The first few chapters of The First Mistake introduce Alice, her family, and her thriving business, as well as her anxiety from something relating to her first husband's death. The prologue is the most intriguing, and immediately makes you wonder whose perspective it is from - is it Alice? Beth? Lottie? And what's going on with Alice's daughter's trouble at school? I have so many questions and can't wait to find out what happens! The cover is nice, and I'm curious about how it may tie in to the story.
