It’s not really a review because what the heck are you waiting for? Your heart will be warmed, you may cry, you will definitely laugh out loud. And there are superheroes and boys with crushes on superheroes and best friends being supportive and dads just trying their best and sugary cereal and flirting with candy.

Nick is such a relatable, wild teenage boy who doesn't quite fit in except where he does with his best friends in the sweetest ways. I'm not always great at gauging age groups for YA but can imagine this would be a lovely book for a younger audience looking to feel a bit more seen. I think TJ does a lovely job at capturing his characters and highlighting all aspects of what makes them them. What really hit me was that Nick has ADHD and which is very prevalent in his character and how his mind works is constantly praised or lifted up by his friends and family.

Honestly, I feel like everyone needs this book on their shelves but especially young adults who just feel... extraordinary
