The narrator for the audiobook made this for me - they sounded kind of like an old time radio announcer or someone doing a voiceover for a movie trailer (but without being too over the top annoying). The story took me back to my GreatestJournal and LiveJournal days, typing up and reading countless amounts of fan-fiction (no shame in my game), just hoping my stories would gain traction throughout whatever fandom I was writing them in. While The Extraordinaries was a touch predictable, it was still so much fun, I can't help but give it 5 stars. It's one of those books that no matter how you consume it, you'll want to do it all at once. It's a great escape from the crazy world we live in, and you'll find yourself wondering how you ever did without it once you finish. It's sure to make you laugh out loud, feel introspective at other points, and cheer when all is said and done!
