The Extraordinaries is the definition of the word wonderful. Nick and Seth are a match made in superhero heaven. This is the sweetest story filled with love and hope. There is the best relationships that I have read in a very long time. There is heartbreak, and times when you literally want to shake nick and knock some sense into him. I want to read this again for the first time just so I could smile for days after. The fantasy is not intense at all which I really enjoyed. It’s almost magical realism. The world is so normally built but the superheroes just make sense. If you like fantasy, romance, contemporary fiction, coming of age, LGBT romances, this is for you. And so much more. It is wonderful and lovely and heartbreaking and hopeful.
