Super heroes? Urban fantasy? LGBTQ rep? Witty Banter?! Yes please! This is my first T.J. Klune book and I wa spleasently surprised. The plot and the characters were very intriguing and made for amazing protagonists. I absolutely loved the witty personalities and witty banter we were able to experience with them. The wide variety of representation that the author included in this story was refreshing and added a lot to my reading experience. I loved that these urban super heroes were referred to as "the extraordinaries". This was definetly a fun take on what a super hero would be in an inner city setting. My only feedback was that the characters felt a bit immature for their age. Beyond that this was a fun and exciting story.
