This book was just what I needed during this social distancing. First, I adored Nick Bell. His dedication to the Extraordinaries which has him writing fan fiction about its character, Shadow Star and Pyro Storm. In fact, Nick has a bit of a crush on Shadow. :) totally adorable.
Nick is still grieving the loss of her mother and so is his dad. I love the relationship with Nick and his Dad. It reminded me of Kurt and his dad from Glee.
Then we have Nick's best friends. Cute couple Gibby and Jazz and also Seth. Awwww SETH!! I grin like a maniac just writing his name. Him and Nick..oh be still my heart with them. I loved them. I'm being very general in my review for a reason, especially now since the release date was pushed back. Just know that this is a wonderful book filled with beautiful relationships between characters and an imagination like you would not believe!
