It's been a really long time since I have read this book, so I'm going to go through my initial thoughts and filter through my memories. Seriously, why did I wait this long to review?!

Nicky has ADHD and while I personally don't have experience with what that feels like, I've known and met many children who experience it every day. For me, it was important that Nicky's ADHD was portrayed positively and used to bring light and humor to a story about good and evil. His ADHD wasn't either good or evil, and was featured in a way that any reader could connect with.

The story is a fun take on the classic hero and villain stories with a lot of twists, and how perception can alter even an alter ego (see what I did there 😏)

The cons - I found a lot of the teenaged-boy interactions to be too embarrassing for me personally, and while I sympathized, it was hard for me to read without cringing a little.
