The Extraordinaries tells the story of Nick Bell, a teenage boy who is slightly obsessed with Shadow Star. Okay maybe extremely obsessed. He’s so obsessed that he writes fan fiction featuring Shadow Star & Nick of course. What happens when Nick decides fan fiction isn’t enough anymore and he wants to become an Extraordinary himself? Will his best friend Seth help him or will he think Nick has finally lost his mind?
TJ Kline does not disappoint in his YA debut! This story is such the perfect combination of romance, adventure, and mystery. The narrator for the audiobook did a fantastic job and was perfect for the storyline! I definitely want to grab a hard copy of this one because I loved it so much! This great coming of age story gets 5 stars! Definitely recommend!
