I really enjoyed this contemporary queer romance. The characters within the novel are real, raw, and absolutely relatable. While reading, I found myself hanging onto each character’s ever word and action. I felt instantly connected to the story. The writing style was genuine and very easy to read and follow along with. The prose is fast paced, concise, and it flows nicely. I am excited to see these characters flourish and develop. The setting is perfect as it makes me feel present within the story. The story follows queer characters that aren’t defined by their differences, which is sometimes hard to find in YA LGBTQ+ novels. I wish there were books like this for me when I was growing up. Truly remarkable!
