I can see from this first look that "The Extraordinaries" will be a hit with YA fans. The first look begins with a very unique writing style that I think teenagers will identify with more than adults. The concept of fanfiction writing is a little lost on me, but I know it's because I'm old and boring. Nick Bell and his passion for his writing is something that many teens will identify with. The blurb mentions that this is for fans of Rainbow Rowell and Marissa Meyer, and I can definitely see that.
