Overall, I didn't think I liked the story well enough to want to read the whole thing, but there were things about this book I really liked:
The fanfiction: I write and read fanfiction, and this was so realistic! And the comments--also just like you'd see in reality. Definitely liked this.
Nick's relationship with his dad: also realistic, from the cringy conversation they had about sensitive topics to their relationship.
I thought this story was well-written and will interest a lot of people. It's not quite up my alley, but I'm sure it will find a lot of fans.
