Just from this short bit, I feel like this book will be a fun adventure with some soul! Nick seems like a relatable character for a lot of readers, especially teens looking for characters to connect to, and I am already rooting for him. I enjoyed the idea of using the fanfic chapter to introduce some of the characters, especially since it is a fun twist that the superheroes are real in this world. I don’t read a ton of YA, but I would definitely pick this one up at the bookstore or library while browsing! I can’t wait to see how Nick’s fanfic and real life collide!
