I love how Maja had the chapters go back and forth between the characters so you know what was happening with them. With each page turning I got transported into whatever scene I was in. Weather it was the refugee camp or in Fjord even on the boat. Signe is definitely a woman that teaches us never give up even when loved ones have given up You keep going! The single father is a statement to single dads everywhere you can raise your kids alone yes its hard but definitely worth it! I will definitely recommend The End of The Ocean. I liked that it had a little history. Wonderful book about hope, courage, and love. This book is amazing I didn't won't to put it down! A terrific book on not giving up!
