I am really impressed by the work that is coming out of HarperVia and The End of the Ocean is no exception! The summary of the story reminded me a bit of After the Flood, another dystopian book that similarly deals with a voyage. However, I also can't help but draw parallels between Signe's journey and that of Greta Thunberg's journey across the Atlantic to raise awareness of climate change. From the excerpt of the first chapters, I can tell that the writing is going to be beautiful. I look forward to seeing how the two timelines fit together.
