The closest I've come to reading climate fiction was The Overstory, as far as I can remember. This book has similarities in that it focuses heavily on characters who are experiencing the climate in a certain way. However, this book shifts back and forth between the present and the future, with two characters who aren't apparently related to each other in any way. I had to read the jacket copy to figure out how the stories intersect, and I don't like to do that. But I am curious about what will happen to each of these characters.
