I have to be honest, this was not my favorite book. I was confused most of the time I was reading it and just didn’t really enjoy the story line. It took a really long time (like over half of the book) for things to start making more sense, but then the ending came and I was confused all over again. I also didn’t really enjoy the characters. I didn’t think they had great character development and were difficult to distinguish from one another.
I liked the idea of reading this book during covid times and I was drawn to the description of the dog in the synopsis, but this book just wasn’t for me. Maybe it was a little too science fiction for my tastes. I did make it through the book, which is why it got two stars from me instead of one, but it definitely wouldn't be one I pick up again.
