Dystopians used to be all of the range, but I feel like we haven't seen them as much lately. This one is very interesting to me, because we are in a pandemic and this book takes place after a pandemic. The idea of infected flies makes my skin crawl. I'm not a big fan of bugs, and I feel like there are many people who also fall into this category as well. I'm a sucker however to books with a dog companion. I'm cheering for Nico and her puppy to survive and sidenote, I will riot if the dog dies.
