The cover of this book is absolutely stunning. It definitely caught my eye and made me interested to know what the book was about.
However, the excerpt just wasn't up my alley. The prologue felt a little overwhelming with the pretty constant shift in POVs. There was a lot loaded into those few pages and it left me feeling like I had whiplash.
After that, it was hard to get in to the story.
