I think this is a good book to go into pretty blind - I don’t want to spoil it for anyone!! Essentially, Evelyn has developed a human cloning technique, and her husband leaves her for her clone. And then things start to get really interesting...

I don’t read a ton of sci-fi, but this book really intrigued me. I’m a scientist, and I loved that aspect of Evelyn’s character. The moral and ethical dilemmas surrounding cloning were well explored and thought-provoking. I also loved the plot - I literally gasped at one of the twists.

I also enjoyed seeing the character development of Evelyn's clone Martine as she became more independent and started to question her origins.

TL;DR - if this sounds at all appealing, pick up this book ASAP. It’s a slim 250 pages that you will probably want to read in one sitting (sadly I had to interrupt my reading for sleep, so it was two sittings for me.)
