To be honest, I felt that the first chapter was a little slow. Once the second chapter started, the pace picked up and caught my attention. I can't imagine how a scientist has to fight to get recognition and respect from colleagues and investors. Then, a major personal issue comes up and they have to not let it show how much they are hurting. Evelyn is able to hold it together and remain professional. Her research is very important to her and she spends all of her time devoted to it, yet she still has feelings like everyone else. Can she keep it all together? I am curious to find out.
