From moment one I was hooked. Evelyn's internal narrative is compelling from the first page and by the end of the first chapter I knew I had to read the book. The thing I've always loved most about mystery/thriller books written in the first person is that the chances of having an unreliable narrator are so much higher and when that trope is carried out, it's usually done extremely well. I'm super interested in seeing if that happens here, and how everything plays out! I love the writing style and I already am attached to Evelyn.
