I think the cover of this book was striking, the synopsis drew me in immediately, I had to know what was going on and could not wait to read further. The author's use of language is very thoughtful, I felt like I could feel the protagonist's despair and anger - the emotions came right through the page. I am excited to dive deeper into this novel as soon as it is published.
