Mystical and Realistic Time Travel
Would you travel in time to save someone you loved? This is the first book I have read by Diane Chamberlin and I will be looking for more. I have heard that this is a little different from her other books. I agree with the comparisons to the novel The Time Traveler's Wife in that there is a strong sense of wonder in this story. I found this to be an engrossing and beautiful book. I felt connected to the characters, especially Carly, and rooted for her as she was faced with some difficult choices. The time travel element was well-handled and felt both mystical and realistic. It was an emotional read (in a good way), and I highly recommend it!
